DTR1 Rim Sizes
On the detail page of each of the DTR1 tyres on this website, is the correct rim size as recommended by Maxxis. The problem with these rim sizes for most UK riders when converting a MotoX or Enduro bike, is that rims this size, fitted with DTR1's wont fit in the bike! They are simply too wide as the DTR1 is quite a large tyre (US Flat Track bikes feature wider triple clamps and swing arms).
Consequently and despite the official Maxxis recommendation, the most popular rim size is actually 2.15" front and 2.5" rear when converting a MotoX or Enduro bike (yes we know it doesn't really make sense, but it works okay?)
